Life of an Athlete New Program of the Year
Auburn High School was named the 2018 Life of an Athlete New Program of the Year. The school's "The Bulldog Way" initiative focuses on building a championship culture in all areas within APS. The Bulldog Way extends beyond athletics to include academics, fine arts, and character within the school. The student leadership council and sponsors traveled to Lake Placid, New York to receive the award and present to the workshop attendees.
National Blue Ribbon Award

Closing the Achievement Gap
In 2017/18, Auburn Public Schools was named the top rural school in the State of Nebraska for closing the achievement gap in math and science.
Featured School at the United Nations Presentation
In 2015, Auburn was featured in a presentation at the United Nations on Educational Technologies Available for Primary and Secondary Schools - DPI-NGO Briefing.
